The problem we aim to address is the lack of accessible and tailored information about science career prospects for UWI students, particularly those outside the Kingston area. Many students struggle to navigate the transition from academia to the professional world and are often unaware of the diverse career paths available to them. This publication seeks to bridge this gap by providing firsthand insights and experiences from science graduates who are successfully working in various industries and sectors. The purpose of Career Cosmos is threefold: 1. To empower final-year UWI students with valuable information and resources to make informed decisions about their future careers. 2. To create a platform for working professionals to share their experiences, advice, and lessons learned with current students, fostering a sense of community and mentorship within Jamaica’s science community. 3. To curate a comprehensive database of UWI science graduates who are actively seeking job opportunities.
